How we use your details

When you request dates, your name, WhatsApp number, dates, the number of guests and, if you add them, your email address, flight details and message are kept in the house’s booking system so the hosts can confirm your stay. Your dates are held for 24 hours. WhatsApp then opens with your request written out, and nothing is sent on WhatsApp until you tap send there. The hosts use these details only to reply to you and to arrange your stay.

To stop the calendar being blocked by misuse, the booking system briefly notes the internet address a request came from and deletes it after two days.

Messages sent through WhatsApp are also covered by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy. Guest reviews on this page come from Google, and reviewers’ photos load from Google, so Google’s privacy policy applies to them.

Your request is visible only to the hosts. We do not sell or share your details, and we do not use them for marketing unless you ask us to. Requests that do not lead to a stay are deleted within 12 months. Confirmed stays are kept as the hosts’ booking records.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you at any time. We handle personal information in line with Zimbabwe’s data protection law.
